CueRate, a product of the Center for Arts Management and Technology, facilitates the application and review process for fellowships, festivals, universities, and numerous other artwork adjudication programs. Artists submit applications and work samples through a simple Web form, and panelists score artist applications based on questions that are customizable by the funding organization. For visual art categories, digital projectors replace slide projectors, and panelists are presented with high resolution artist images.

The system consists of a moderator work station connected to dual digital projectors and a series of panelist work stations. At the end of each scoring round the moderator can quickly sort artists based on various scoring criteria and seamlessly advance selected artists to the next round.

CueRate was developed through a partnership with the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), the largest grant distributor of unrestricted fellowships in the US. Each year, NYFA gives more than $1 million to approximately 170 artists throughout New York State.
